What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit the Obiy mobile application and website (collectively, the “Platform”). Bendai Teknoloji Anonim Şirketi (the “Company”, “Obiy”), which operates the Platform, uses these technologies to ensure the proper functioning of the Platform, to improve your experience, and for usage analytics.

This Cookie Policy explains which cookies we use and for what purposes, as well as how you can manage these cookies. Your personal data processed through cookies is processed in accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”) and our Privacy Policy.

Which Cookies Do We Use?

Strictly Necessary Cookies

Required for the Platform's core functions to work (signing in, account security, security checks). Without them the Platform does not work properly, and they cannot be switched off.

Functional Cookies

Remember choices such as your language preference and appearance setting so the Platform opens the way you prefer. These cookies carry no data that identifies you.

We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking or profiling cookies. The cookies we do use are strictly necessary for the service to work, so they require no separate explicit consent. If we ever introduce analytics or advertising cookies, this policy will be updated and your explicit consent obtained beforehand.

Third-Party Cookies

Some operations are carried out through trusted third-party service providers. These providers may use their own cookies or similar technologies only while you are performing the relevant operation:

Sign-in providers: when you choose to sign in with your Google or Apple account.
Payment infrastructure providers: Akbank T.A.Ş., so that payments for digital services are collected securely and verified with 3D Secure; Apple App Store and Google Play for in-app purchases made in the mobile application.

Third-party cookies are subject to those providers' own privacy and cookie policies. Bendai is not responsible for their practices.

How Can You Manage Cookies?

You can change your cookie preferences at any time:

You can delete or block cookies from your browser's settings.
In the mobile application your language and appearance preferences are stored on your device; removing the application deletes them too.

If you disable strictly necessary cookies, some parts of the Platform may not function properly.

Retention Period and Your Rights

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser; persistent cookies, on the other hand, remain on your device for a specified period or until you delete them. Personal data collected through cookies is retained for the period required by the relevant processing purpose and within the framework of the retention periods stipulated by the legislation.
